beaver bounce

first of all, know this: trish and i are mildly obsessed with a new dance craze known as

the beaver bounce --created by comedic master minds, tim and eric. you must watch it to fully appreciate this post. so go. right now.

secondly, know this: trish and i went on a run today and could not stop singing 'the beaver bounce' song aloud. i decided to add in the signature dance moves as well. started off with the beaver bounce--no problem there. had a nice bounce going. trish did too. then of course i had to increase the difficulty. you know, bringing it to the next level. went for the krunkle kick. while running. it's quite a simple move to execute while standing but when mixed with a light jog it requires a level of coordination which i clearly do not possess. so i fell pretty hard. then started to do that 'little kid cry cause you are so shocked and have no idea how you ended up on the ground lying on your back while hugging your knees to your chest' thing.

and then we started to laugh. mainly at the ridiculousness of the situation. i fell because i was doing the beaver bounce, more specifically the krunkle kick.

in conclusion, however tempted you may be, do your best to avoid performing the eye-catching, lady-pleasing beaver bounce while running on uneven sidewalk cement.

With Trish out-of-town for a while, I've had some time to reflect on my current (pathetically lonely) situation. Sneak a peak into the mind of a self-professed wack-a-nut. That's right. I just said wack-a-nut. Watchu know about that?!

A Minnie Vacation

Weeeeelcoooome to the Fabulous Life of Renée and Triiiiish!

In celebration of the new website Renée and I decided we wanted to take a little vacation!!! Hooray!!! But since we only scrounged up enough money for one ticket, Renée and I had to flip a coin. And I won. Then we wrestled. And I won. Then she cried and I slapped her and I told her to grow up. Cuz I won. Then I boarded the plane to THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH.

Needless to say Disney is not the most magical place one can visit when they are by themselves. But somehow I am having a friggin blast! After inhaling a turkey leg in Frontierland, and then manhandling a young man dressed as Pooh Bear, I then ate some Dip 'N Dots and headed towards Splash Mountain. Drenched and tired, in my white belly shirt, I met a nice Jewish boy named Isaac who was celebrating his Bar Mitzvah. Initially I planned on hiding somewhere in 'It's a Small World', considering my recent weight loss and affinity for Swedish clothing, but after meeting Isaac, he offered me lodging at the Floridian, the resort he and his parents are visiting. So far so good. I'm thinking about converting, especially since Isaac's dad paid for my hair wrap with matching Israeli beads. Mazel Tov to meeeee!!!

Anyway Née, I miss you. I'll bring you back something. Even if it's the Mickey Mouse soaps from the hotel bathroom. Cuz Lord knows we need em. Maybe I'll grab some TP too cuz I know your bum is chaffed from the paper towels. Loooove you!
